Asian Theme Wedding IdeasAsian Weddings I was planning a wedding for my niece and her future husband using some ideas I found for an Asian wedding. Asian theme wedding ideas are just as easy o find as traditional or other themed weddings. We chose the traditional Asian wedding with all the culture and cuisine. For the wedding favors, we chose candle designs from Japan, chopsticks with our name and wedding engraved and the beautifully designed hand fans. The table decorations were bonsai trees and rock gardens. The tables looked beautiful. In the corners of the reception hall, we had large bonsai trees that were also used at the ceremony. The wedding invitation cards were true Asian designs and wording. For her dress, my niece chose a red dress with the traditional flowers on it. The dress was so lovely on her. She accented the dress by doing her hair up with an Asian comb and a pearl necklace around her neck. She was a lovely bride. Here flowers were orchids with a touch of bamboo weaved in. The cuisine was Asian and the guests delighted her by dressing the part as well. This was a traditional Asian wedding, but other ideas were to just decorate the hall with lanterns and veneer panels with hand fans all over the walls.
Other Asian theme wedding ideas were to have the reception outside under a tent with the lighting being strictly lanterns and the music soft Asian music turned down softly. One person had suggested having the wedding around a Koi pond with gardens and trees in the background. This would have been decorated with lanterns and other Asian décor. There are many ideas and designs possible when you are planning the Asian wedding. The ideas are endless depending on the time of year you have the wedding.
