Christmas Decoration Idea Wedding

You are getting married during the winter holiday season and are looking for a Christmas decorating idea wedding appropriate, or in reality several ideas to choose from.

First, let’s look at the site where the ceremony will be held. If you are getting married in a church, there are likely going to be restrictions on what kind of decorations you will be allowed to use.

For instance most churches would not allow a spinning disco ball, or flashing Christmas lights. Check with your clergy to see what types of decorations you can use.

On the other hand, depending on how close to Christmas Day you will be married, the church may be decorated with poinsettias, holly, pine boughs, garlands lights and maybe candles. This would save you a bundle on flowers.

If your ceremony will be held at a hotel, or other commercial venue you will probably have a bit more leeway in this area. You also can save money here because the businesses may already be decorated for Christmas. If not check with the events manager as to what they can and can’t do for you as far as decorating is concerned. Remember before you decorate or have it done, this will be the same site as your ceremony so keep it tasteful.

You probably will not want to decorate your reception venue with Easter Lilies or other spring flowers for your Christmas wedding. Again holly, greenery, mistletoe and other winter plants will definitely shout Christmas to your guests. Potted poinsettias on each table would look lovely.

An alternative would be to have bowls and vases of ornaments of different colors shapes and sizes would also look absolutely stunning as centerpieces.
