Imagine, it is Christmas time and the wedding is going to be beautiful. You want some Christmas theme wedding decoration ideas to place around the church and the reception hall. You have so many different things to look at because Christmas is a holiday and it is winter. When my granddaughter got married, she wanted to decorate in something different then the traditional color of red for her wedding. She loved the color blue and decided on a blue color scheme. Now we had to find some good decorating ideas with the color blue. It was not as hard as we thought it was going to be. The designs for invitations also fit into a Christmas theme with blue. What we did was to make snowflakes out of paper, sprayed them silver and glued glitter on them. We placed these all over the hall. We used blue candles as centerpieces and the table covers were light blue as well. We then made blue streamers to hang from the ceiling around the snowflakes. It looked very nice and the pictures turned out great. If you use your imagination, you can come up with some great ideas. The church was done with blue carnations. My granddaughter loves carnations and decided that the bouquets and church flowers would be carnations and baby’s breath. I did find some other Christmas theme wedding decorations ideas for the tables while we were looking around. Some of them were decorations that match the wedding favors that you could buy. There were table confetti, hanging candles and many keepsake decorations. Christmas weddings are always fun to plan for, especially the decorations. I think some of the centerpieces and decorations found at the local florists make nice wedding decorations. You might have streamers, snowflakes or even fake snow for your decorating ideas.
