When my son was planning to marry his high school sweetheart, I was just as excited as they were. Since it was a Christmas wedding, I wanted to find the right Christmas theme wedding favor ornament that could be kept as a keepsake. The Christmas wedding favors that I found were bells and snowflake ornaments. It was silver plates and had a ribbon as the hanger. The ornament was beautiful and it shined so bright. I decided to buy these and I had them engraved with the names and wedding date on the back. I then decided I want a bell as well.
I found a silver bell with a ribbon hanger and had them engraved as well. My future daughter in law though of the next part of the design. She said that since they were ornaments and looked so beautiful, we should put them on a Christmas tree for guest to take during the reception. When the designs were done for the invitations and they were all sent out. We decided to start working on the tree. We use a fairly nice sized artificial tree since there were many little ornaments. We decided to use miniature red lights and place the silver plated ornaments all over the tree. It did look adorable. Sarah was very pleased at how nicely it worked out. She did not have to worry about putting wedding favors at the tables since the tree had everything. The Christmas theme wedding favor ornament was a great success. Everyone thought the idea was unique and they liked the way we decorated a Christmas with them. The entire wedding was delightful and they are happily married and expecting their first child. Now I am going to be a grandmother and I cannot wait to start shopping for him or her.
