She had been postponing her marriage for years since she was deeply into medical research and wanted to complete her doctorate before getting married.

Many of us thought that she would never get married. But when she finally decided to settle down, we were all very happy for her. She wanted me to do her a favor.

She requested me to design the wedding shower invitation cards for her, to which I readily agreed. The news of her wedding made me so happy, I was willing to do anything for the wedding now.

While some people have switched over to sending ecards for shower invitations, we still preferred to send traditional cards. We just wanted to design the card ourselves so that we could choose our own wordings and customize it to our personal taste and preference.
