RSVP Wedding Invitations

I have always seen these four letters RSVP on invitations that I often used to wonder what the letters meant. Then when I was as

ked to design a wedding invitation for my friend with this message in mind, I had to learn what these letters meant.

I searched online and found that RSVP is basically an abbreviation for the French words “répondez s'il vous plait” which literally means kindly respond to this letter.

I also learnt that the whole point in sending an RSVP invitation is to request the invitees to acknowledge the invitation and respond to it so that we know whether they would be coming for the ceremony.

This is a good way of knowing how many people will be attending the wedding ceremony so that we can plan accordingly without wasting too much money. Numbers are extremely important while arranging for a wedding function and so I learnt the need to send RSVP Wedding Invitations.

Once I knew this, I started designing the invitation card and the wordings for the invitation. Again, I wanted to know the appropriate wording to be used for the RSVP invitation. So I again went online searching for good wording for the occasion.

I came across 2n-invite.com, which had wonderful wording for all kinds of occasions. It had everything to do with all occasions concerning the bride and the groom. Right from wordings for a wedding shower party to bachelor parties, everything was covered on this site.

Since I had already learnt the need to send RSVP Wedding Invitations, I chose a good downloadable RSVP wording for the invitation and printed it on printable paper. With that, all the preparations for the wedding invitation were complete. Only the physical preparations for the wedding remained, like the decoration of flowers for the reception and so on.
