Wedding Etiquette

Learn About Wedding Etiquette

Do you know the most special event of ones life it is none other than his or her wedding.

But is it right for us to forget the wedding etiquettes while we are engrossed in the wedding joys.

Not at all, we should never forget the wedding etiquettes and be very careful and make everybody happy around us.

The foremost thing that should be decided upon is the wedding budget.

If the budget is finalized then your half of the work is done. But one thing is for sure the budget generally exceeds the amount that has been decided on. So be prepared from before hand.

Depending on the budget you can now start planning for the wedding. If your budget is high then your wedding can be formal and if you are having a low budget then your wedding can be an informal one.

Life has changed and so has the social conventions. Every body has become self-dependant therefore couples that are getting married are financing their own marriage. The full pressure no more lies on the shoulders of the bride’s father. The expenses are now shared among the families.

Firstly the groom’s family needs to be very co-operative and they are responsible to make the bride’s family feel comfortable. The mother of the groom has a lot of work like introducing all their relatives to the bride’s family, inviting the bride’s parents for lunch or dinner.

Asking out for lunch and dinner in restaurant is also a good idea. The groom’s mother before the formal gathering can also send family pictures to the bride’s mother along with a picture of the groom’s child hood.

The bride is the queen for that day so her mother needs to be very polite and friendly to her keeping in mind her desires.

The gown she chooses, the accessories that she wears, the things that she wants have to be taken care of and needs to be fulfilled. It is the mother’s duty to at least try to fulfill her daughters’ wishes. If the bride wishes to leave everything on the mother then it is a totally different story.

Apart from this the décor, the food the, the sitting arrangements has to be decided upon. The sitting arrangement has to be done very carefully. It is important that every body in the party enjoys each other’s company. Therefore arranging the seats according to the age groups or family is a good idea. At a higher platform the bride and the bridegroom can be seated and on the two sides the families can be seated.

Wedding etiquettes therefore needs to be looked after for all these reasons. Maintain your etiquettes and enjoy thoroughly.
